| I recently purchased two of these Presto poppers machines (one for me and one for my Dad). The Presto popcorn maker creates popcorn at an almost alarming rate once the kernels heat up. It needs a fairly large bowl to catch the popcorn as it flows out - the 1/2 cup of kernels it takes produces a very large volume of popped corn. The kernels pop up fully leaving very few unpopped kernels at the end of the batch. The unit has a butter melter on top which seems to work fine if the butter is not too cold when starting out. We mix in vegetable oil with the butter to make a healthier snack. So take it from me a popcorn lover, this is the only machine you need, throw the microwave out and get this! |

| We made our first batch of popcorn with this Presto home and theater popper today, and we were so happy!! By adding the melted butter and pinch of salt and toss it, the popcorn came out even better than the one from Movie theater!! Easy to operate, easy to clean, only take 2 minutes to pop 1/2 cup of popcorn seeds into 4 quart of popcorn! You do need at least 4 quart container. At the beginning, very few unpopped seed will come out as the air blowing, but one it starts popping you will see the most perfectly popped popcorn!! We were using the butter oil flavored microwave popcorn bag until one day I saw the news saying that the butter flavor one contains harmful chemicals. |
